LHS Music Boosters is the umbrella organization that covers the following LHS music groups:
- Band: Marching Band, Color Guard, Percussion, Winter Guard, JV Band, Concert Band, and Wind Ensemble
Orchestra: Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Orchestra
General Music: IB Music, Music Technology, Guitar, Piano Lab, and World Music Drumming
Due to the complex and specific requirements of the individual music groups, LHS Music Boosters allows each group to function autonomously within the umbrella. Each group determines their goals and costs in co-operation with the faculty. The groups share an executive board, are governed by the same by-laws, use the same tax-ID number and share the mission and vision of LHS Music Boosters.
